Well, your Swedish friend ripped this off from Monty Python.  A couple
years ago the Pythons played the Hollywood bowl.  After intermission they
came out to do their famous Australian Philosophy skit drinking Foster's
Lager, and proceeded to tell the above joke.  C'mon guys, credit where
credit is due...
