I was lucky enough to reach the distributor at MIT directly, who sent me the following: CLU is available under license. The educational license is free, but there is a $50 fee to cover distribution costs. The commercial license is $5000. Commercial companies can get CLU under the education license, if they desire. Copies of the license can be obtained by sending your U.S mail address to rws@mit-xx or rws@mit-bold, or to Bob Scheifler MIT Laboratory for Computer Science 545 Technology Square Room 531 Cambridge, MA 02139 CLU runs under TOPS-20 and VAX 4.2, and (I think I can now safely say) in about a year will be running on 68000's under System V and 4.2.
