It's only to be used for things that it's legitimate to use the ARPANET for, e.g. sending mail to or from a person who is allowed to use the ARPANET. The gateway is an important part of the electronic community. Without it, a lot of us would be unable to get our jobs done. The fact that Berkeley has generously offered its facilities as a gateway is appreciated by those of us who use it. Let's not start attacking Berkeley for their generousity. Mark Horton
