There are other commands which can be used to "become" some other user which do ensure valid RFC 822 header lines. A "power tool" is something which lets the user go beyond the program's (narrow) interpretation of whatever standard...either to use some unimplemented or new feature...or in this case to violate it. Just like somebody can hurt themselves with a chain saw, one can abuse a mailsystem power tool. But blame the user, not the tool. -------
