When the ProDOS update for Manx C comes out, it will cost $100.00. I got this by talking to a salesman at Manx. Unfortunately, the date when it will be ready looks a lot like never. I was told that Manx has put all of their efforts behind developing a C compiler for the MacIntosh, and so are not working on the ProDOS version. While it is conceivable that they will work on it when they finish MacIntosh C, it is also possible that another computer may require a C compiler. I originally planned to wait for the ProDOS version, it is just as well I didn't. Does anyone know how to patch the SHELL to run under ProDOS? Does anyone know of a good UNIX-like Operating system for the Apple? - Rob
