Cleveland, Ohio Lines: 14 - I wandered into a Best Products catalog store here in Cleveland this weekend to find many Atari label products on sale! I managed to snarf up some software items that I needed, but there were some other significant cuts. The catalog prices for 600XL and 800XL machines are now approximately $100 and $170, respectively! This makes the 800XL quite competitive with the C64 (needless to say.) The software sale items were quite obviously losers to be dumped from Atari (or Best) inventory (such as Conversational French.) Anyway, it looks like the price cuts are on and if you have a Best store in your area, it may be worth a visit. (I don't know if this sale is local or a national thing.)
