Can anyone post an OVERALL assessment of the 1541 Disk Drive?  I've been 
thinking of buying one but am being scared away by the Horror Stories.  
I'll be basically using it for loading and saving programs with a little
database usage.  What can I expect to encounter?  Is it a safe buy?  How
about new vs. old versions and new vs. used?
