Although I can't speak from direct experience the general impression I get is the Radio Shack CP/M Plus for the 4 is nice, but wont read more than a few different disk formats. Also, don't expect RS to give all kinds of support for it; they will give you the name of a vendor which sup- ports some kinds of software for CP/M Plus. On the other hand, I have heard very good things about Montezuma Micro's CP/M for the Model 4; so you may want to check it out. About TRSDOS, although 1.3 for the III was given a well-deserved bad rap, 6.X is a much improved series and I have found it to be very adequate for my needs; but I can't say for sure if it will meet the requirements you specify. R/S sells Multiplan for the Model 4, and I believe they have some kind of data base but I don't believe its dbase II. I hope that info is of help. David Whitney ctvax!uokvax!uok!dwhitney
