I have to disagree, while it is true that he has made many cop films before I greatly enjoyed this one and found little similarity to any of his previous work. Along with a good thriller plot, is some excellant character development of a man who is forced to confront the part of him that has gone toward the baser side of sexuality. I highly reccomend with the annotation that it does delve somewhat to the seamier side of redlight districts, although to good effect. Probably Clint Eastwood's second best film ( #1 still being The Outlaw Josey Wales ).
