The story goes that many years ago someone asked Jimi Hendrix how it felt to be the greatest guitarist in the world, and he said "I don't know; ask Phil Keaggy". Unfortunately, he records for an evangelical Christian label (Sparrow, I think) and he is almost invariably produced into mush and given very little room to stretch; but I've heard him in concert and he's frightfully good. - Irving Reid (utcsrgv!sask!deview or ihnp4!alberta!sask!deview)
