I appreciate the "Top 25" statistics, and really do read them.

The last posting showed an interesting/amusing fact: of the top 25
News Submitters, one had to look down to the sixth person to find
anything submitted to one of the so-called "technical" newsgroups
(net.unix-wizards).  The first five in the list had only submitted
to the non-technical nets (net.comics, net.politics, etc).

It just goes to show that the *real* purpose of the net is
human-oriented communication.  All those folks who feared that the
advent of the computer would turn us into "dried-up technocrats"
may now officially relax!
