Every now and then, instead of preparing a file beforehand and feeding it to inews, or using postnews (which puts you into an editor automatically), I want to post a short item and just run "inews" with direct terminal input. Then I notice a typo before sending, but several lines back in the text. I know of no way to correct such mistakes. Is there some control character or other method to get to an editor at this time, or just abort the posting while saving the text in a file you can get to and then edit and feed to inews again?
