All three ate dry food and seemed to like it. I get IAMS from a decent pet store in the area; even though the male cate was neutered, I knew I didn't have to worry about him developing cystitis. The ash content of IAMS is low so that shouldn't cause problems. You might see if your cat(s) accept tomato juice.
