I may not be quite as professional as some of you out there may be, with your thousands of dollars invested in equipment, but I think I have a pretty good camera outfit. And I am certainly no klutz but... after an accident a couple of weeks ago that was almost fatal to my zoom lens, I gladly paid the $10 to get a new filter as opposed to several hundred dollars to get a new lens.
