They may sell nothing else. Notice, that I didn't mention beer. That's right, you have to go to two different stores to buy beer and wine in New York. (beer can be sold in supermarkets) 2) Beer may not be sold between 4:00am and 12:00 noon Sundays. Hard liquor (including wine) may not be sold between 2:00am and 8:00am Sundays. 3) Wine and liquor may not be sold within 200 feet of a school or church. church has no say in the matter, he may not legally tell the state "I don't care whether X's Restaraunt can serve wine with its meals" There is no restriction on wine/liquor sales within the church itself. (Don't know about schools)
