   "Not in Our Stars" by Jefferson P. Swycaffer just came out. It's not
a bad book: it has a lot of interesting space battles, admirals screaming
at each other, and political intrigue. Sort of like Pournelle, except
without a right-wing slant. Swycaffer's universe is based loosely on
the game "Traveller", so if you like the game, you'll probably like the
book.
