We have defined them (over & over) but new people keep joining the net!
Chuq ALMOST defined them right then corrected himself about MOTAS. Just to
re-cap:
MOTOS - member of the opposite sex
MOTAS - member of the appropriate sex
MOTSS - member of the same sex
SO - significant other

I have seen BTW used in other contexts than net.singles. It means "by the way".
