As the writer of an article, you have (or *should* have) the responsibility to re-read your article, think about how you could be mis-understood, and take appropriate actions (eg: clarify yourself if necessary). In *addition*, as the writer of a reply or rebuttal, you should first think about how you may have mis-understood what the other person said or tried to say. Communication over the net, is difficult enough as it is, why make it harder.
