Try to find something attractive in *everyone* you meet. This includes Christians. We are all people here, with varying styles of everything, including the amount of flaming we do. So, okay, knock off the "I'm right and you're wrong, so there!" bit. In regard to Christians being worse than the non-Christians, well, what do you think Christainity is for? Jesus said that he came not to help the rightous, but the down-trodden (I know that's a little hard to take, fellow Christians, but that's life). Concerning what others regard as sin and my life, we are told *not* to judge, and not to be a stumbling block. So, then, what to me is a sin, and what to you is a sin is strictly between me and my God, and you and yours; with one exception: I shouldn't do what my brother considers a sin in his presence, for that would become a stumbling block in his life. Paul the Apostle spoke of this in the "eating of meat sacrificed to idols". Overall, I have to say that I know great folks who are Christians. I also know great folks who aren't. That doesn't make we wish to avoid the one, or the other. We all are here for a comparatively short time, and I think we should make the best of it. If I were to say to you that I know a better way, and you tell me that you don't care for it, then that's that. I haven't lost a friend, we just disagree. I won't try to force my religion down yer throat, and I expect the same from you. That last paragraph could be construed to be a plug for You-Know-What, but I didn't intend it to be. In summary, I believe anyone can be friends, no matter what their background. And isn't that what being is single all about? Friends? Danny -- Daniel S. Cox ({gatech|akgua}!itm!danny)
