Counterpoints to the above (there may be others): - He says stuff to the effect of "Gee, I never thought of that" when someone makes a good point giving the impression he *has* accepted the advice. - If something isn't controversal, it may be that he just isn't compelled to respond. He may only respond if something irks him. Other considerations: - He was solely responsible for starting that Trish stuff again (Trish re- visited, calmly). The origional debate was one of the most heated dis- cussions I've seen while on the net and he wanted to re-initiate it when it looked like *everything* had been said. A possible flaw here being that (as he stated) he felt he still had something to say and just wanted the net to calm down a bit before saying it. - The fascination with "male-female interactions" and "religion" provide an excellent basis for discussion and argumentation. I think everyone can relate to his feelings, but few would be so open as to admit them publically if indeed they had them. This, in itself, intrigues me. I honestly don't know whether he is "for real" or not. He is either very sincere and open *or* very clever. Either way, since I find his arguments interesting I'm not overly concerned (although he *might* be). Since I've been told there are people who use the net as a "fantasy world", the only way I could really be sure is by me going down to Purdue *myself*... Nope, not that important.
