	(Sacrifice to the line eater )


	  I am trying to add command line editing and keyboard  macros
	to  our UNIX system ( similar to EDTDCL on VMS ), but our site
	doea not have a source license, which means I can't play  with
	csh, ncsh, ksh, or tcsh.

	  My attempts to create a prefilter that pipes to csh are  all
	too slow and cumbersome (extra forks and all).

	  Anybody out there have a command line editor for non  source
	licensed sites?
