Latest news taken from INTERSTAT:

According to Daily Variety (7/24) LN winged into NY from
Paris to meet HB (Harve Bennett) and finalize plans for
ST IV which Nimoy directs and Bennett produces. Eddie Egan
(Paramounts publicist for ST) (7/31) confirms that Bennett
and Nimoy will again man the helm together for STIV.
Eddie also reports that film grosses as of 7/29 are 71.2
million, and describes the future ST movie at this time
as an "active project in development."

ST III opened in Tokyo in June and is #2 in grosses there
to date.
