Re: What they found in the Andrea Doria's safe.

They used a special procedure to float out the money (about 50 $20 bills
and some Italian Lira), and at the end someone stuck his hand down into
the safe and apparently felt more money.  But the procedure wouldn't have
floated out any heavy items (packets of diamonds, etc.), and the show went
off before they emptied the safe.

It was an interesting show, but I kind of wonder why they opened the safe
still in the water - I suppose so they could float out the money.

If anyone ever *does* find out what was in it, please post.
