Here's what I remember from the opening of the Underdog show:

Announcer (I think it was Don Pardow of Jeopardy & Saturday Night
Live fame, but I'm not sure):

"Look....up in the sky...it's a bird...it's a plane...it's a frog!"

Somebody else:

"A frog?"

Underdog (Wally Cox):

"Not bird nor plane nor even frog, just little old me, Underdog!"
