I saw V (the *Original*) this weekend.  What I want to know is, are they
going to start the series at the end of this show (with Robin pregnant,
Donovan's kid on the mother ship, etc) or are they going to show V (the
Final Chapter, or whatever it was called) and start the series from
there?

First of all, there has already been a second movie.  It ends with
Diana zooming away into space.  Robin's surviving daughter (there
were twins, but I won't go into that. Send me mail if you want to
know more) looks like a human, but has a lizard tongue.

Here's what I read from the San Francisco Examiner.  Robin's daughter
will come back about the same age as Robin. This will be explained as
being due to some kind of sped-up metabolism.  They will both be
romantically involved with the same guy.  There also was in a recent 
issue of TV guide a small blurb showing two new characters.  They
didn't say who they would play, but they look about the right age to
be Robin's daughter and their new boyfriend.

I thought this might be a good series, but this really sounds hokey.
I liked the two movies, although I thought the second one could have
been alot better.  Isn't that always the way with sequels that are
made mainly because the first movie made alot of bucks?
