Actually, the other time lord called him 'Theet' - short for what he
called him at first, 'Theta Sigma' (British pronounciation, 'Theeta
Sigma').  In the book version, this is explained as a sort of code
name, and not his 'real' name.  When in the series was his 'real'
name revealed?  I have never heard it, myself.
