Flame on me for not get- ting my facts straight but the show was *not* hosted by Tom. It did, however, feature Tom both in a lengthy interview and in many clips of his best perform- ances. I like Tom well enough, but I was bitterly disappointed by the way the show was used to boost his ego. No mention at all was made of the other actors who have played the doctor. The discussion centered on Tom Baker and the people who like him, rather than the evolution of the show, as I would have preferred. It is nice that Dr. Who is seen by psychologists as a healthy release for professional people as well as a good children's show, but it would have been better if there had been more indication as to the future of the show, as all us Dr. Who fans must be interested in this matter. As a final word, I salute American television for recognizing Dr. Who for what it is - a stimulating and enjoyable show which can be enjoyed by young and old alike. -Steve.
