It's full of vitamins/minerals/nutrients/protein. Some people eat it when- ever they have the chance. That meat is placenta. I tried it once and found its taste no worse than liver (it's hard to believe I used to actually eat liver). It's main use is to stop post-partum hemorrhage and infection (it's full of hormones, too). I know this may sound too gross to be true, but is it any more gross than killing an animal to get its flesh/organs/etc ?
