A few days ago Ed Frankenberry mentioned a cable scrambling
system called "Octogon".  Does anyone have information on
this system or could tell me what it is?  I too am on an
addressable cable system made by Scientific Atlanta, which
uses their model 8500 terminal, but I have no idea what 
scrambling technique is used.
