If I had a nickel for every person in this
discussion group that asserts "rape is not
a sex crime, it is a crime of violence," I'd
be rich.

Is this intended to imply that since violence
is common during bank robberies that bank
robberies have nothing to do with money?

The sort of articles that have been posted to
the net of the "rape is not sex" variety
involve a rather superficial analysis of
rape. Rape is 100% involved with sex, and
preventing rape seems impossible without
a clear understanding of its motives and 
nature.
