I have not yet succeeded in "picking" some arcs I form by consecutive small lines. Even if I make the line_width so large that the cursor can be essentially completely enveloped by the lines in the arc, the pick device will not detect it. I can easily pick filled polygons and can pick up figures with longer (>0.25 inch) lines only with some difficulty. I cannot put a "background" polygon around these arcs because there can be an arbitrary number of them very close together, even overlapping and I must use NORMAL rasterop or else the individual arc lines overwrite each other, resulting in a washed-out arc. Why can't these arcs be picked and what can I do to make them detectable? 2. Has anyone succeeded in getting some sort of video output from the monochrome monitor to drive a large screen display? Any help with these questions will be greatly appreciated. Gary R. Thrapp Naval Ocean Systems Center San Diego, CA 92109 (619) 225-7196 ..!sdcsvax!noscvax!thrapp
