I think ont.singles was set up to discuss issues of interest to singles
in Ontario that wouldn't be appropriate for the whole net.  The only things
I can remember being discussed were ont.singles parties (which only Waterloo
people showed up for) and a long exchange discussing whether Waterloo or
Toronto were worse places for finding unattached female students.
