We urgently need a method of transferring binary and text files
between VAX/VMS 750 and an Data General Eclipse 140 running AOS.
A high speed transfer utility is preferred, although RS-232 is
acceptable.  We have investigated Ethernet, but this appears to
be a high risk alternative since there does not appear to be
a single vendor that will support both ends.

We are investigating KERMIT and any assistance porting this program
to a DG machine would be appreciated.
