The insert and delete character operations don't work here on our DEC 20 in EMACS. This is a lose. I just replaced my Apple //e with a system running Macterminal, and sorry to say, the Apple // did a MUCH better job of terminal emulation. It displayed characters faster, it did REAL VT102 emulation, displayed bigger characters and had a DELETE key. The most annoying thing about Macterminal is that I have to type COMMAND BACKSPACE to get a delete. This is Mighty Tiresome and I always lose home position on the keyboard after the reach for the command key Did I miss something or are these all real problems with MacTerminal? Seymour -------
