-  an EMACS/MINCE/EPSILON like editor ?

- a  SCRIBE/SCRIBBLE/FINALWORD like word-processor?

- a simpler monitor for the MAC (no desktop/graphics garble slowing down the
	machine)?  but FAST, as befits a 68000 !!!

- an "affordable" and complete book, describing the innards of the Mac-OS?
	(something like "Inside Mac", only publishable)

I am standing before the decision of either getting a MAC with some
"decent" and "responsive" interface SOON, from elsewhere or home-spun,
or delegating Mickey to the "computer-museum", or the kids' toy-box.
I can't stand the stress much longer .....
