My friend is in Engineering there, so it may be their engineering computer. I tried all the suggested formats for sending mail to him, they all came back as undeliverable, except the following method which worked: Friend%CRNL20A.BITNET@BERKELEY I was told that the UCB-VAX was the unofficial gateway, and that WISCVM (or something that started with a "W") was the "official" gateway. Nonetheless, the mail bounced back to me, so I sent it via unofficial means, and it made it. I got a reply back from him also via the berkeley machine. There you have it... Ron ------
