Some time ago I read a report produced by a group at berkeley that worries
about throughputs that bears on Unibus vs. Massbus question.  Their
measurements showed that there was little to choose between the two busses
(Unibus 1.2 megabytes/second, Massbus 1.3 megabytes/second) under some
reasonable conditions if the only criterion is speed.  Perhaps the authors
of that report are still listening.  Report of carefully done benchmarks
are always useful.
