 I have a Sony compact stereo ,model CFS885
 

Recently it blew a fuse.I replaced the fuse and tried to play a
cassette tape;the tape played for a few seconds before the cassette
stopped playing.Holding the play switch in, the cassette will play the
tape,but the second the play switch is released the cassette stops.
I have checked the play switch and it seems to be Ok.

does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
