I have a SONY CDP-701 and play mostly classical CDs. About 4 or 5 of my 20 CD library go "tap tap tap..." in the same place - most noticeably, of course, in pianissimo spots. I figured it was the same hyper-critical poltergeist who scratched all my LPs at first playing. Could there be a more rational explanation? -- Rod Williams dual!ptsfa!ptsfc!rjw "There's so much left to say - don't drift away"
