My Yamaha did that very thing, it usually did it in time with the music so that I really didn't notice it at first. I didn't catch on until I noticed that it wasn't the same from play to play. I took the thing back and the repair guy said the thing was out of alignment. Since he aligned it I haven't heard those noises.
