Summary: 

Can someone give some idea how expensive using a HiFi VCR is for
use as an audio recorder.  How much do these units cost?  How much is the
tape?  Can one record a few times on the same tape, i.e. record once on the
audio portion and once or twice more on the video portion?  In sum, how 
much would it cost per hour of recording?
