The Alfa SPICA system is modification of a diesel injection system and is dead reliable. Getting 100,000 trouble free miles is common, it will usually outlast the engine. I personally have 155,000 on mine and I've never even had to adjust the idle. It still meets factory specs on emmissions and mixture.
