I have written one and need some suggestions on heuristic static evaluators for given board positions. Any possible pruning methods will also be appreciated (I will probably use Alpha-Beta). Finally, I find that pieces that are pinned cause slight problems to most evaluators. Please send any and comments/or suggestions about any of the above topics. Thanx alot, David Schwadron
