Countdown for mission 51-A began with the call to stations at 2:00 a.m. EST
this morning, November 5.  Launch is planned for 8:18 a.m. EST November 7 when,
I am sure, the TV networks will be too busy concentrating on the U.S.
presidential election aftermath to cover the shuttle liftoff for more than
5 minutes.
