The Law Society is trying to get its various machines to talk to
one another. One of them is an ICL ME29 Model 37, running under
TME Release 8.

What is required is C03 protocol emulation for interactive or
bulk transfer, or IBM 2780 emulation for bulk transfer.

(I don't understand any of this, but the person in charge of the
ICL system here tells me this is what's needed.)

Any pointers would be appreciated.
