Not knowing huge amounts about financial management, I can offer a
hacker's view of Convergent Technologies:

I had written to them and asked for an annual report/10-K form about six
weeks ago and have received nothing.  I did receive literature from
the other sixteen companies to whom I sent requests.  

What this says about them financially, I don't know.  They seem to be
relatively overvalued -- most companies in the hi-tech world are selling
at somewhere between 15 and 25 times earnings, and Convergent was way up
there last time I looked.  The price dip may just be a response to their
extremely high EPS ratio.
