Seen on a box of Peek Frean cookies, a rather tasty brand of cookies
from Canada: a recipe that contains the following variants at the end:

TIP--make as a pie using crumbs to line a 9" pie plate and fill with
jelly mixture.  Serves 7.  FOR SQUARES--line 8" square pan with 2/3
crumbs.  Fill with jelly mixture.  Top with remaining crumbs.  Makes 8
or 9 squares.

(Serves 7????  8 squares????  My brain hurts!)
