The original limericks (I think) were by edward lear, and he had the
habit of making the last line almost identical to the first, so that
they went:
   there once was a duck from golgotha,
   who ....
   ....
   ....
   what a wonderful duck from golgotha!

These, incidentally, are now really quite boring to read...
