It is a system that DC is rightly proud of and was long overdue. Please take the kids to see the Lincoln Memorial. It is particularly beautiful at night. If they're acomplished climbers, try the Washington Monument. Visit your congressman. Take the White House tour. My favorite thing though is the Museum of Natural History: I believe they have the best dinasour and mineral collections anywhere. (And it doesn't feel as commercial/disneyland nor as crowded as the Space and Technology Museum(s)!) Rick Merrill
