We are considering installing a LAN for the Computer Science Dept. here
at Iowa State. I have been scanning the network news on such topics for
related information, and was wondering if any one would like to share thier
experiences in such matters. We are running a VAX 11/780, and thinking
about hooking up some workstations (brand yet to be decided). 
Any Comments that have not been posted in the last 3 months would be
grately appreciated.
